Products Description
HG-G14-30 series dredger vessel is a self-propelled hydraulic grab dredger, which uses hydraulic digging buckets to excavate the soil, mud, sand, stone from the river bottom or seabed. The hydraulic grab dredger adopts integral box-structure, which is convenient for transportation on land. Its positioning depends on the spuds system.
General application range:
* No close mud discharge area;
* New port or wharf;
* Underwater piling of river bank;
* Solid soil underwater, river and channel dredging, maintenance and widening of navigation channel.
Working Principle
Working mode of hydraulic grab dredger: Position the dredger with spuds, and it excavates sand, mud, stone, etc. on river bed by excavator buckets to a mud barge, at last all excavated will be sent by the barge to designated place.
This grab dredger has two sets of equipower diesel engines in engine room to be as main power. They are connected to the gear box and then to the screw shaft to drive the propeller to move the dredger forward and backward. Generator set provides dredger lighting and emergency power supply during shutdown. Spuds of dredger are driven by hydraulic motors. The design, construction and inspection of the dredger meet the standard requirements of China Classification Society (CCS).
